I have a question for the men

As an early poster indicated, this is all going to be very individualistic. I'm sure that there are as many opinions as there are posters and lurkers.

In general I do not use ads to decide who to see. I have a to-see list composed of ladies with whom I have shared enjoyable times and ladies who are on my wish list. If a lady is on my wish list, I may look at her ad. This is especially true if she's a traveler coming into my city and she's been on my wish list for a while. Those ads are more likely to spark a visit because there is a limited window of her availability. Especially is she either has not been in my city before or rarely travels to my city.

Now even if you're on my wish list an ad can either hurt or help your cause. I value well-written, intelligent and humorous ads. In my mind the best ads I've probably ever seen come from Fancyinheels. They are unparalleled in telling you all about her personality in how they are written. Dallas Rain's ad are also so absolutely HER that you have no doubt who you are going to see, they reflect the ball of energy she is.

On the other hand a poorly done ad that makes it seem as though it was done in a drunken haze or by someone who is not conversant with grammar is a definite negative.

Pictures are nice, but if you're on my radar, I've already looked. Face pics are not necessary for me, I understand that ladies do need to exercise discretion for their own safety.

Due to the restrictions on ads these days a serviceable link to your website or P-411 is a must have.

Making your ad readable is also a must. Some ads have these wild fonts that are hard to read or all of these special characters and effects that also make them difficult to decipher.

One last item. If you are a traveling lady visiting a city like Houston or Dallas that is fairly spread out geographically, tell me what part of the city you'll be in. It does make a difference. There are limits as to how far I will travel to visit.

If you are a local lady, then either your P-411 or website should indicate where your incall is or what parts of town you will visit for an outcall.

I realize that it's hard to stand out and be unique, but please be yourself. Don't copy anybody elses style, use your own so that it reflects the woman I would see if I walked into your door.

Obvious photo shopped pictures, dirty feet, messy in call, bath room pictures, pimp in the pictures are all turn offs! IJS! Originally Posted by Still Looking

Well, first, I learned a long time ago to NOT do the duck face! Momma always said your face will get stuck that way!
No disappointments, and from what many have said, PICS are important. After reading that, I gave myself a DUH forehead slap, because I knew this already. Some of my pics, when I post them here, come out very large while others are tiny. Maybe I should read some of Fancy's ads for some ideas. I have looked at a few ads before and some tend to repeat the same ad over and over.
I do try to paint a picture with words, sometimes a romantic interlude, or something hot, wild, and animalistic.
I appreciate everything all of you have said.

Pictures, attitudes, age and reviews. The pictures are required for us men. I like all types of women but I like to see what I'm getting. Attitude is a big one as in do I think we will click. Age, I prefer gals with, how do I say this without being offensive, more mature. Then the reviews to get an idea of what may be on the menu and the donation rates.

I think first and foremost are pics just like everyone else has said but the ad needs to grab you and to do that it has to be a little different or show something that is your best quality..be that your smile, tits, lips, legs, butt ..whatever you think is your best feature.
The writing has to be upbeat and friendly so that it shows part of your personality.
Then we need a truthful age - where we don't read it and say yeah and I was 25 last week too ...just be truthful about it!
Then tell us a bit about yourself .. Your likes and dislikes.
Then if you have a age shut off or a Nba status tell us up front.
Then when you post pics have them fairly updated and big enough where we don't have to get magnifying glass out.
And it's okay to blur your face but don't have such crappy pics that body is a blur.
Then make sure you put down what type beverage you would like to share with your client because most will want something to drink during appt even if it's just water.
Any info that will give us insight into what type person you are is greatly appreciated.

Need to understand, that every post a lady makes is a form of an ad. Maybe not a threAD like is being implied, but in screening a lady I might be willing to see, I just might read everything she has ever written here.

Pics are nice, and might catch my attention. But poor grammar, BP style ads with special ANSI characters (yes, that is what they are, and I still remember some MSDOS command line code as well.) do nothing to attract my attention.

I recognize that ads here can't contain the dollars and service levels, but it needs to be as clear an ad with limited need to click on links. Further, if I have to sign up to join some yahoo website or other type of process, I just grew too weary to continue my pursuit.

Finally, I am going to check out your reviews. Every one of them I can find. If there are a lot of negatives, lot of she doesn't look like her photos, etc., then we probably are never going to meet.

My hobby time is as precious as my hobby dollars, so I don't wish to waste either one.

I adhere pretty much to what was noted by prior posters, along with.....

Any use of classy, upscale, most beautiful, well regarded, ....etc. that type of over-kill/over promo is indicative of just the opposite IMHO of course ....bottom line is if a provider is not younger/thinner/prettier/bustier than my SO, I won't bother ..... So yes I am a picky SOB lol

I do have a very simple website, because I am technologically inept, but it is free to browse and there is quite a bit of info there. No sudden burst of loud music, not secret codes, there is a membership option but I don't encourage it. I've told guys, 'if they ask for money, don't give it to em!'.
I fully understand the value of a gentlemans time and money, probably better than most providers. Only because some the RL jobs I worked at were traditionally a man's job.
But it is great to know what would attract a mans attention and you guys have been very accommodating in my quest. Thank you.
