It is legal in Canada, however, most things surrounding are illegal (Incalls - Inmate Bawdy House, Keeping a Bawdy House, Solicitation, Living off of the avails of prostitution). But true, most are not bothered by it. They tend to raid massage parlours (they are considered a Bawdy House) or the odd independent who received complaints from neighbours.

The laws are currently under appeal in Ontario for being unconstitutional and will come up again before the courts towards the end of April.
