Some learn that the idiots will never change and for most of the rest they are too far gone to help.
What is the point of attempting to have a discussion with a liberal when all of their responses are exactly the same.
For them ignorance is bliss and for each time they look up a retort they somehow feel they have elevated their own sense of self worth.
From my experience, they are all basically the same and are incapable of an original thought or the ability to comprehend an opposing point of view.
I suppose for them it is sad to be wrong all the time yet believe they are right.

An extreme liberal commenting on something being done used an old adage that is in direct conflict with their views. Always looking to the government for guidance in all things the term typifies what is wring with liberals. The phrase was "good enough for government work". This typically means that what was done was not professional but it is better than nothing.
I see this on a regular basis when dealing with government and especially the VA. The incompetence of government in so many things makes me wonder why anyone with a lick of sense would want more government.
We know that our government is extremely inefficient with our tax dollars yet there are those that want the government to be able to collect even more.

Bigger government and more money does not mean that anything in our lives will be better. I do not understand why the opposing viewpoints believe differently.

When you get right down to it, discussing this with the extremely closed minded left could be the reason that Whirly determined it was a lost cause.
