George H.W. Bush, the 41st president of the United States

I doubt anything written by The New York Times could be considered balanced.... unless you’re an angry liberal looking for more hatred to feed on.

Maybe you're an ostrich, maybe you're not that bright, maybe you are just uninformed. Google Terry K. Reed and Mena Ar. Google Iran/Contra.

There's no way in hell they're letting that asshole speak. Trump is damned lucky he was invited. Frankly, he doesn't deserve it, but that is the definition of grace, being gifted something that one doesn't deserve. Bush had grace. Trump deserves nothing but contempt and ostracism from any polite society. Especially from the Bush family.
Has anyone broken the news to Mike Obama's unit about #41's passing?

I heard a piece of the Funeral while getting ready to see Lara at Lucky Haven (she is OUTSTANDING, by the way).. I heard Jr. speaking, he was all the Speaker anyone needed, Trump would have looked very bad trying to go before, or follow Bush Jr.

I can't imagine we will ever see a President be eulogized by his own, ex-President Son again.

by the way.. Bush is the longest-living President in history. if Jimmy Carter makes it to next April 21, he will surpass Bush.

43 handled himself well. I only saw him lose it at the end of his eulogy. That takes some doing.

“Wednesday marked the first time since Lyndon Johnson’s death in 1973 that a sitting president was not asked to eulogise a late president.‘

Trump already being consigned the the same ash heap of history as Nixon.

I've been hearing attacks on McCain for failing to be graceful like the Bush family, and allowing Trump at his funeral. really cheap, IMO, pitting the 2 families in comparison.. McCain was not a President, he was personally attacked, unlike, say Jeb, who was denigrated, but not personally. why should McCain invite Trump to his funeral? God knows how Trump might have acted, or what he might say. what possible civil purpose could have been promoted? of course, these same people attack McCain for upholding Obamacare, insinuating he did so solely to slap at Trump.
