Try using a different browser to enter, I've been having a problem with Mozilla Firefox.
Make sure all your updates are current on your laptop.

Nobody has said which operating system they are using. I run XP pro still and use Microsoft Security Essentials and the Microsoft firewall. They use the least amount of resorces in the back ground which helps. I also turn off all the junk that wants to startup when windows starts up. Internet explorer 8 works fine as well. I use the free windows sweeper to clean out the cashe memory and other stuff that needs cleaning out about every hour or so....just my 2 cents

You guys are crazy. I think the problem is flash, which causes problems in my browsers all of the time. this will go away generally if you wait or if you hit the escape key. alternatively, press ctrl alt del and task manager will come up and the freeze will end. then cancel out of task manager. yes, it's a lot of work. it is because of flash or shockwave, I am 90% sure.

i use windows 7, 8, and android 4.1.2 software.....

firefox main browser, chrome okay just addicted to mozilla..... never have a problem. would suggest dumping cache and offline files and a clean reboot. and turn off the the 50 toolbars running in background.
