Why do I have the distinct feeling some people are getting confused about a lady's SO vs her client's SO?
Yeah, some of the responders didn't make any sense. I have only had 2 wives contact me over the years. One to cancel my the trip I had planned with her husband. That was awkward. And a second to tell me that her low-down cheating scumbag husband had died and she was learning about the a-hole she had been living with all these years now that she had access to his laptop. Even more awkward.
The first I told that she must have the wrong number and the second I just said "I'm sorry for your loss" and hung up.

I also avoid any random calls (even from clients), reserving my phone for logistics on the day of an appointment only.

I occasionally get guys who think its ok to get a bit chatty after screening, by email or text. I dont think this is ever a good idea, as those communications can be found, and what kind of story can you concoct at that point? I like for emails and texts to stay nice, tidy, and business-like - then at least a client could say I was requesting their services, whatever that occupation may be.

Recently, I've had a couple of requests from gentlemen who claimed to have SO's that had them on such tight leashes that they did not even have an independent phone that was not monitored by their SO's... no phone to coordinate a 2-call system = no appointment. Unsafe on so many levels.

LE could not do half the damage to me that an angry vindictive SO can. I have no dog in that fight. It is best for a client to not even put me in such a position.

I think we have all met the one that wants to Keep us to themselves. Just tell him this is your profession and he can have his time when he pays for it and on your time you do what you want, if it gets to overwhelming report him to a mod and stop seeing him. Originally Posted by sexiiladii90

re-read the first post, I think you misunderstood the question
I have not had this problem. I would just ignore any texts/calls from the SO.

In my personal life, because I used to DD frequently for my friends I would often get accused of being a homewrecker. I ended up having to ignore it and coaching my friends on "How to Keep Harpies Happy 101".
