I have good feelings/memories of the old Indys for a few reasons:I wasn’t a big Indys person but I do remember how the owner outed Mandy for {staff edit- CK}. It was the most fucked up thing I’ve ever seen in the hobby. I’ve heard rumors of other BS things he did. That guy was a piece of shit.
1.) I met through Indys my three (3) all time ATF's, and each one of them was half-Asian. Not fully Asian, half Asian. Not sure if it was just dumb-luck that many "exotic" girls moved through there while I was active, and it definitely worked for me. I saw each of them at least once a month (two of them were visitors from out of state) and the local one I saw twice a month. Quantum-Hot, Porn-Star Level Performers- All Of Them. And each one of them did at least one (1) of the Rare Services....
2.) The Indys GTG's and private-organized HH's were Invaluable for creating a sense of "community" in the PGH and OH hobby-scene. Hobby people could meet each other and "put a face to a handle". Guys could check out and "kick the tires" of the providers who attended and decide if you wanted to book with them. Plenty of "after-party" sessions arranged. Hobbyists could also meet other Sub Culture Degenerate guys and exchange notes. Invaluable experiences and (again) it created a sense of "community" for the PGH/OH hobby scene....
3.) Indys essentialy "merged" the PGH and whole statewide OH three city (Cleveland, Columbus, Cincy) hobby scenes, and OH providers came to PGH regularly. UTR Jailyn/Neve Cantell (one of my three half-Asian ATF's) was arguably the single Hottest woman I ever saw in the hobby, and her Skills "backed it up". I saw her regularly for Years. I never would have met her ever if not for Indys....
4.) The Indys vouch system was simply Original and close to Ideal. Not fool-proof, but because I had three (3) vouches I never was denied a session. Now there is too much hobbyist personal info "verification" if you want to hobby. I hobby mostly from SA and while girls there don't often require "real world" personal info of guys (place of work? NOT...) many of them DO require a Face pic or (even worse) some sort of Zoom face-time before committing to banging for cash. That being said- I refuse to send Face pics or Facetime with any SA girls and I get as much action there as I want. With the Indys vouch system hobbyists did not have to deal with any of that "getting to know each other" bullshit that too many SA girls require And positively many SA girls don't require ANY "getting to know each other" bullshit....
5.) Sure, there was "drama" on Indys and none of it really amounted to much. The (very popular provider) Mandy and BluBandit event was one of the Worst events to happen in the PGH hobby-community, Ever. I learned more about hobby-people SELLING OUT other hobby-people (particularly Mandy, who was universally well-liked before all that) More from that event than any other hobby-event. What does it all amount to? Not....Much. It's surprising there was not MORE Weirdness and MORE Lurid Events all those years. Mostly the whole Indys and PGH and OH hobby-scene progressed pretty well that whole time....
6.) I know a guy in my "private life" who as an early (minimal poster) player on Indys and he and I still exchange intel on SA girls and "civilian" women who Throw....Down. If you pick-up even one (1) good friend from any "sub-culture" then you are doing well. I miss all the guy friends I met through Indys, and the professional Porn-Star Performing Providers, and particularly all my half-Asian ATF's. I don't imagine the PGH scene will EVER have it as good as it had it from the early 2000's ASPD scene through the Indys scene. There were some Bad....Events which happened involving Indys but mostly I have Very....Positive memories of that whole hobby "sub-culture".....

I had one (1) personal, hobby-related conflict with him which was resolved and it did not amount to much in the grand-scheme of things. We were on good terms the last few years of Indys, though mostly I had moved-on from that whole scene starting in 2008...To be honest, I hated Indys. I’ll take SA any day. The problem with indys is the misinformation. The “closeness” of the “community” made it that way. The clowns that pushed for CMWYL to win some stupid award cost me
Many hobby-people, whether they admit it or not, had "mixed feelings" about him. His site was arguably the Best and most Ideal hobby-website, at least for PGH and OH which it dominated, from 2005 through ???. When the history of the PGH hobby-scene is finally written (you bet I have a first draft ready for publication) he will be remembered as a "controversial" figure, no doubt. I always had Friendly and Direct relations with him like I did most hobby-people. He "divided" opinion in the PGH and OH hobby-scene but no one can deny Indys was an Invaluable....Resource for most of it's time. There will Never be another local PGH and OH hobby-scene like the scene from ASPD circa 2003 through whenever Indys last great years were. I stopped going to GTG's and hobbying widely with Indys girls (besides my three half-Asian ATF's) in 2008 and I have mostly Fine and Good memories of that whole scene and all the weird cast of characters who came (and CAME) and went from the scene....

$300. If you never met Jessi you would swear she must look like a playboy bunny. FAR from it. I could go on and on.
I will agree it was good for convenience if you needed to bust a nut but the quality of girls was just ok....at best. Originally Posted by Charley3

I agree for the most part.... jessi was far from being super hot, a sweet girl when you got to kow her but not super hot by any meansSummertime in Oakland does bring back a lot of great memories. There were many hot looking girls to choose from. After they closed some moved on to become Indy girls.
CMWYL was....well different because of her attitude, kind of hippie attitude, she also was a sweet girl and had some good skills but certainly not what you would call model hot
The main problem with reviews is alot of guys want to talk up their meetings rather than be honest abot them with out being mean. very few give straight out reviews that 1. are honest and 2. if something was wrong ...putting it out there without totally over blowing what was bad.
Indys was amazing when I joined in 2005 and yes, there were many, many damn hot and good looking girls. I'm sure tolstoy remembers two of our atfs, exotic carmen lol and keighley.
too many too recall their names. I never had any problems with PI or joe from dames4U for that matter but thats just from my experiences
Indys was great but the best was summertime in oakland.... damn what memories Originally Posted by chizzy
