Encounter: New and improved Paradise?

I saw that game. There were even table tent cards advertising it. And they clearly said "Win cash". I don't see how they can do that and not have it be gambling. Originally Posted by KCQuestor

I looked up Dragon Ascent. That is what they are called "game of skill" because if you are skilled enough, you can win cash. Where a game of chance is just that, sheer luck. Apparently they are all over the country. Each state that has them is deciding to either regulate or try to have them banned. If not regulated, casinos will have competition. States will lose money, with the contracts they have with casinos.

I got curious as well. For those who are interested in how the game works, here's an analysis of the game (PDF) from Washington DC's district attorney's office:

Essentially, players pay for a reservoir of shots to shoot dragons, then win money depending on how effectively they shoot the dragons among fourteen variables, such as color, shot power, and multipliers. The game consists of seven fixed scenarios, which repeat and can be learned by an attentive player. A player can win back more money than the player put in. Dragon's Ascent does not utilize a random number generator or a compensating algorithm to change the odds of winning; the sequences and rewards are always fixed, and there is no element of chance in determining the player's reward per shot. Players may cash out at any time and receive the cash value of their credits from the establishment operator.
I think they have specials everyday as well

With a robe, you can really go far without people seeing. I had full sex once in a club in East St. Louis right in a regular seat in the main area because she had a robe on and it hid everything. Originally Posted by KCQuestor

They’ve always been $10. The $10 dances used to be topless and full contact. Now the $10 are full covered. Originally Posted by elwoodblues808080

I thought if a thread was over 30days old it’s was closed.

That's only review threads.

#12 - In our review forums, be mindful of the 'maturity' of threads you are posting to, ie. the date of the last item posted. We ask that you refrain from posting to a review in which the last post was made 30 or more days ago. Some exceptions may apply if you are providing relevant, valuable or updated information about the provider, but as a general rule of thumb, this can best be accomplished by writing a new review altogether and avoiding the bumping of old ones. This applies to our review forums, in particular, as discussion threads are often allowed to flow for an unspecified length of time.

Everything I am hearing here is very unfortunate. I am getting my shot tomorrow and have not been in since the original shut down last March. I was going about once a week up to that time, and usually spent some money and had a good time. Was looking forward to being able to go back and have a few drinks and hang with some of the girls. Does anyone know if any of the waitresses and bartenders that were there before the pandemic are still around?

Lexi still bartends some days and Dolly quit and is at Liberty Hall.
Big Wills wife Ashley bartends some days.
Mostly new girls. Savannah, Aura, Whiskey and Macey are some you might know.
Gorge, Ken and Robert are all gone too.

Wow TH, you have a better memory than me being able to name everyone. If you know them that well you must have been in enough that I would know who you are. My second shot is in three weeks and then a couple weeks after that I should be safe to stop in. Just doesn't sound that promising anymore. Thanks for all the info and be safe,
ahhh, E. STL back in the day. PTs was crazy back then, as well as Roxy's. They were all wild, and plenty of sex to be had either in the club or just next door.

Haven't been in 15 years.
