were any of the protestors armed?
whats an insurrection without a few "assault weapons", or at least molotov cocktails?
no pre-positioning of molotov cocktails or lead in a sock, no bricks even..no face coverings...no keffiyehs...i mean after years of anitfa burnings and killings, you'd think real insurrectionists would learn basic rudimentary tactics
and no ransacking once inside? just some posing and antics? whats with these jokers...no beer hall putsch, no killing and storming of the bastille, no overrunning of the winter palace to take the romanovs ...just some picture taking?
the only death was a murder committed by a cop?
they desperately needed training

But a review of the federal charges against the alleged rioters shows that they did come armed, and with a variety of weapons: stun guns, pepper spray, baseball bats and flagpoles wielded as clubs. An additional suspect also allegedly planted pipe bombs by the headquarters of the Democratic and Republican parties the night before the riot and remains at large.
Those weapons brought violence and chaos to the Capitol. Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick died one day after two rioters allegedly sprayed him and other officers with what prosecutors describe as an "unknown chemical substance." Four other people in the crowd died in the insurrection, and more than 100 police officers suffered injuries, including cracked ribs, gouged eyes and shattered spinal disks."

Laws were broken and one individual, ex-police officer Thomas Webster, was sentenced to 10 years. Another was sentenced to 7 1/2 years. Members of the Proud Boys are currently being tried and will probably end up with lenghty sentences. I'm sure they were convicted of "picture taking". Get real!
