Ladies would you see this "prostidude"?

He's a little (as mentioned earlier) manicured for my tastes, too feminine for me, too. I like my men a little more chisled and rustic, like Hugh Laurie or Hugh Jackman. Hee, aparently anyone names HUGH works for me!!

Do you think he gets more men, or women clientele?
I am not the kind of girl that decides to sleep with someone solely based on their looks, but if I were he wouldn't do it for me. I can only think of one man I would pay to sleep with. Nope, not telling.

Maybe it's just me, but he looks like the gay version of Steve-O. Which I find pretty disturbing. Originally Posted by txtraveler07

"prostidude"? I thought I'd heard them all, but that's a new one.

Kudos to Markus and the owner of the establishment for having the gall to register in the first place. I too take issue with his Rosa Parks metaphor though. Whether he had to summon similar bravery to submit a form and fight for basic human rights is suspect.

That said, where the article ends up is not at all unexpected, but annoying no less. If the gent claims he's straight and will only serve female clients, what else should there be to talk about? Instead of focusing on what benefit he can serve his female clients, it's another discussion of the double-standard and uneducated fear that exists with straight male escorts.

I'd like to someday see a few articles that discuss the positive side of male escorts for women. Efforts to deny the existence of any such market will persist. And evidence to the contrary is treated as non-normative and statistically insignificant. From where I sit, the problem is that observers are expecting women to participate in such a market in the same way men do. Have we still not learned that women are infinitely more subtle and secretive than men?

The existence of Markus at least makes more women aware of the possibility. But the broader market of women wanting temporary companionship demands a much more discriminating and discreet approach.
