I use Talkatone.

Free texts and pics, send or receive. And I also get free phone calls and voice mail.

I'm not sure why the voice call and voice mail are free too on mine, but ymmv.

WhatsApp!!

You can register an account and you can keep the account even if the phone number on the device itself has changed. Nobody can intercept the messages, not the CIA or the FBI or anybody else unless they are on the actual receiving end of the text message itself on the actual device. End to end encryption. Phone calls and messages are entirely free and happen over your data connection.

The fucking cops cannot in any way eavesdrop on your communications and as long as your phone is locked there is absolutely no way for them to know who you have texted with and the content of those messages.

Everybody should be using this. The vast majority of people outside of United States use this platform.

Everybody should make a push that all the fucking hookers and all of the John’s should be using this platform, it would infuriate and frustrate law enforcement.

I like my Text Free when the ads are paid for, runs smooth without the ads. Smoother than my GV even with the updates, my GV is Always crashing. I use it for another business, have for 8+ years and I hate GV! LOL
I use second line....No complaints.

I agree what's app is great but you have to use your devices phone number for it... unless I am mistaken, please inform me how to use a separate number. 😊

If you have a dedicated phone with WhatsApp installed, and utilize that app exclusively for all communication, nobody can intercept your texts or determine your history unless they have physical access to the UNLOCKED device.

Never use biometrics to lock a phone, always use a complex password to lock a phone.

Latest IOS is unbreakable and “five rapid presses of power button” puts phone into SOS mode; requires password in lieu of biometrics.

If you hookers just insist in your ads that your clients contact you through WhatsApp, adoption will be steady.

Adoption and use of WhatsApp will infuriate police.

Keep up the good work!

I tried Hushed app when I couldn't use burner phone for a while. I can text back and forth to my civvie number on the same physical phone. (Yeah, yeah, I know about leaving a digital trail. Was just a test, and I get enough random texts that one more won't be noticed, especially when I delete it.)

Sideline or Hushed ..... I've seen a few ladies use Wickr too I haven't tried it.
At one time I had a "Good Boy Phone" and a "Naughty Boy Phone". Naughty was a Tracphone.

WhatsApp is good, but it's owned by Facebook. I still us it occasionally to communicate with some people overseas.

Edward Snowden (WikiLeaks) endorses Signal. The more I read about it, the more I like it.
