Tarrant County prostitution sting nets 30; will it curb demand in sex trafficking?

I've been going to amps for a very long time. When they raid them, they don't raid them for prostitution. They raid them for ICE issues more than anything. It would be VERY difficult to come up with the burden of proof of prostitution.

It's MUCH easier to put a UC on Rosedale or Riverside and just grab the guys that solicit.

But as we have both said, there are usually other issues that LE goes to these places, strip clubs too for that matter, and the prostitution aspect is always going to also effected, tho indirectly.

I clicked on the link in that article, to the APD website, and it showed 4 prostitution arrests ( not updated obviously) for August. All 4 from one address, southwest corner of Cooper and I20.

First of all, the situation is sad because human trafficking is on the up-rise. This activity has been around for centuries, and it will never go away.
These girls that work or are forced to work are most always on skid row or WANT to be controlled. It's unfortunate.

Second - I don't disagree with the attempt to snag some of these guys, but surely they do know it will make little difference.

Third - I would not imagine anyone here on ECCIE should be concerned about this sting. That is unless you are pimping girls out on ECCIE? (and the question remains).

#4 - The media is looking for a sensational story that the public is intrigued with. This coverage will do that. Not to mention the cops enjoy it as they get woodies when working the case, no?

Bottom line ..... it's just hype for publicity (for somebody) .... STUPID .... STUPID .... STUPID

ECCIE and other sites provide a buffer ..... and I can pick and choose who I want to see, safely.

It really is too bad these gals on the street (or are pimped out) do not have enough self pride or education on how they can improve what they do. That being said .... I'm sure they are scared shitless if the "boss" finds out they are thinking of going independent.

Especially funny when other prostitutes think other prostitutes are dirty. Must be a great view from up on their pedestal. Prostitution is prostitution.

Prostitution is Prostitution. I certainly don’t think I’m better than the girls on the street. I do feel I’m luckier and safer and I wish better for them.
