Love micro brews. When traveling that is all I ask for, the local brew. Prefer IPA and APA over most.
I am hoping the craft brew industry will be successful in getting the law changed in TX so we can see a greater influx of good local brews.

The KBS was amazing... I totally understand why it has a 100 rating and why they floated the keg in 7 minutes.

But you gotta give it to these guys... they keep going and making a good quality product.
Shoot, I might not make it in time - can someone grab a Creme Brûlée for me?

Alas, 'twas not meant to be...

Sucks about "importing" microbrews from other states to Texas. But great reason for road trips. There's a place in OKC with 200 beers on tàp in Bricktown...
It sold out in twelve minutes, darlin'... I arrived a good five-ten minutes too late.

What do IPA and APA mean anyway? Like I said I am a "vodka guy" mostly.

Although I am trying to get my hands on one of these...

Be happy you didnt get to try the Creme Brulee... I was super excited about this beer and I couldnt even finish the snifter.

It was so rich and sweet it was undrinkable to me... it was almost like drinking a bottle of vanilla extract. Sorry if you wasted your time =/

You win some, you lose some.

There's a cool story about IPA's... long story short, British soldier's wanted their beer while deployed in India... but by the time the beer arrived it would either be spoiled or taste bad. Brewers in England got the idea to basically increase the alcohol content and also hop the shit out the beer so it could survive the journey... and my understanding it was successful. But it also turns out some of the brewers tasted their hopped up beers and enjoyed the new taste. Hence, IPA's were born.
