In uptown I can think of:

  • Ziziki's is very good if you're into Greek.

Just a little east of uptown are some great places:

  • The Porch is very laid back and has great food.
  • Sissy's Southern Kitchen is at Henderson and 75. Great for a down-home, southern-style meal. The chilli fried oysters are out of this world.

If you are looking for dinner, you should check out Hibiscus (next door to Sissy's). One of the bartenders there makes the best traditional gin martini I've ever had. One of D Magazine's best for good reason. You will love it, promise.
I'm heading to Max's for lunch today lol Fried lobster here I come!!

Anyone try these new ramen places that have popped up in dallas? Never thought the ramen noodle staple would hit the mainstream restaurant
Nobu, French Room, Gemma, Oak, Tei Tei,
Tei ain, Fearings, Pyles, Als, Bobs, Mortons, Perrys x2, HG supply just to get you started inside the loop.
Then there's all the Clyde Warren: Lark on the Park, Savor etc. all pretty good but pricey. CBD at the Joule, or even Woflgangs deal(560) up in the Reunion Tower. I only really go south of the lbj so yeah I know there' s alot north of there. I might go to that Collette deal though some day just to check it out to see if there is anybody i know there.Guess Ill need a date! lol

Oh and check out the Bomb Factory in Deep Ellum. Badu kllled it there last month on their grand opening.
