Buyers Beware: TER is a fraudulent dishonest review board!

I hate TER too. I totally feel you. They skew the scoring system and will refuse to let a client score you with 9s or 10s if you don't do bareback shit.

That's extremely biased and oversteps the bounds of an impartial review service. Originally Posted by SugarBeth

I don't know you or the original OP. But I started out on TER prior to moving here to Eccie (which I find to be more hobby friendly to both guys and gals).

That said....you are absolutely wrong. There is No evidence of what you speak. Like I said...I've been there. Seen them Written about them. Given 9's and 10's. Never mentioned BBFS.

Sounds like sour grapes.

TER has it's pro's and con's....but you don't have a clue about what you talking about.
That is horrible! I need to go check my profile on TER...yikes. Best of luck to you.

I got reviews and showed me being in Va. but was never there. Had Fucktards contacting me based on info from my reviews. Originally Posted by LadyRed

More than likely the reviewer was from VA and just posted there in error. Now the other fucktards ... can't help you there since its pretty easy to figure out where a lady is from.

I had VIP on TER at one time, but they are afraid of their own shadow, and any mention of ECCIE will get you a quick slap in the face. Their forum format totally sucks, it is like going back to DOS days.

[quote=pyramider;2488239]TER is a turd of a SHMB. I posted several reviews on TER and not one saw the light of day. TER never would say why. I was probably not graphic enough.

Had the same trouble about a year ago, got tired of writing reviews all denied. Wrote them and said , I will not put f*ck in my review every other word. Will not get real graphic if the lady does not want all the graphic details either. Left, no reviews for about 6 months, then one day out of the blue I get an email that I have 30 vip and should start reviewing again on the new an improved ter. So far they have been alot better, will actually answer messages now and if one reviewed is not approved will let you know why.

First off, TER is NOT a forum like ECCIE. Sure, they offer a forum feature, but is not a robust bulletin board like ECCIE or some other similar board. It is what it is-- an aggregate review site. I'm not trying to be a salesman for their site-- just trying to point out the obvious. One good thing TER has going for it is that it is truly national unlike ECCIE (and other boards) which tend to be regional. Second, it is just one of many sites for all to do homework/research. I have been frustrated at times with them. To post a review, you need a lot of data on the provider you have seen. Also, they seem to be very particular in accepting reviews. For one, I've had problems posting reviews for new providers or providers who didn't have an independent webpage. I've had reviews rejected because the provider website was a link to an ECCIE showcase. I've also had reviews rejected because it was a second review of a provider I had previously reviewed. What give on that? Each session is it's own. What happened the first time is not the same as what happened the second time. Now having VIP status there is good b/c you get more info, but it is not good enough to pay for. I can see why guys would post false reviews. As long as one can get VIP status for having a review accepted and posted, it is probably worth it. I know that sounds bad, but face it, it's the truth.
I think TER is going to be a necessary evil. Most hobbist know about TER and if they do their research on a provider that is one place that will usually show something being they are one of the biggest review boards. As stated above they are a little picky at times about getting reviews approved. If you don't have all your ducks in a row you get it rejected. I've only had one rejected and that was because the provider didn't have a advertised website that she used and she wasn't a BP gal. Also mentioned and take it for what its worth but most hobbist who have done enough research and spot the fake reviews from the real ones. Not sure if you ladies know this but hobbist also contact other hobbist about their reviews just to get a inside perspective. None of my business but I don't think you want to make an enemy outta TER or it might hurt you in the long run, hell I've heard some horror stories. I'm neither a fan or hate TER but understand that they are a necessary evil

Ter & Eros SUCK... at least here in Texas!
I got booted off TER and my 10 pages of great reviews removed for disagreeing with a mod on the provider section. That's pretty fucked up for an escort to get banned
I have had to lower the score on a couple of reviews because even though I felt it deserved the higher score I had to lower it to get it accepted on TER. I will agree as a hobbiest that if there is no bbbj there is no 10 however that's not to knock anyone doing CBJ it's just my preference. Originally Posted by burkalini

I used to be on TER years back. I was just having a discussion in another forum today about why I did not trust TER.

I was starting to dislike what I saw in the reliability of the reviews. I had over 70 on that board, but it seemed to me that if you called out a fake review on that site, it fell on deaf ears.

I Proved my point by registering 4 different handles, all on the same computer.
I wrote 4 reviews. These where not fake reviews at all. They where of ladies I saw on a regular basis. At least once a month.

They went through with fling colors. So, I figured if I could do it so could others.
Providers to promote them selves, and to trash other providers. As well as pimps and agencies to promote there staff.

There is not rebuttal to there review structure there, so no one can be called out on a review.

I saw members posting 20 reviews in a month. Think LE was not involved?

There former owned is now in prison, and I believe City vibe owns them now.

There seems to be quite a bit of confusion on the rating system, always has been. From their site

http://www.theeroticreview.com/info_...Submission.asp
In order to keep our performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider may only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she also willing to performs the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. The addition of each offering will raise the score she is eligible for by one point.

This does not mean she earns extra points for performing the service; just that she is now eligible for a higher score. Her maximum eligible score is based on what is offered, not what is taken. You may or may not be interested in the “extra” services she has, but the fact she offers them makes her eligible for the higher score.

If your review doesn’t already accurately reflect this rating system, we will adjust it.
II think that ROVER 1225 is some bitter internet/phone stalker from Backpage that I had an altercation with over the phone with about two weeks ago. My friend said that he reviewed two other beautiful Asian girls and gave them bad reviews too. Today I sent them a final email telling them to just remove my reviews from their site altogether because I refuse to let some bitter hobbyist and TER rule me. I just launched my escort site a few weeks ago so I'll just get my webmaster to add a review feature there plus I have other reviews on different sites as well. Ladies don't let TER or anyone else control how you make your money because there are other good forums out there.
