Always remember that those you hear from are vastly outnumbered by those you never hear from. That larger group can still be understood if you're paying attention.

After considering all opinions, only do what YOU think is best for the site. Define what's best for the site as that which is best for the community.
Consider your obligation to the membership is that you will be loyal to the information and the truth regardless of the consequences the truth may have for any individual member.
Transparency is your friend and makes your job easier and everyone more comfortable with your decisions.

Walk the wall with integrity. Without integrity there, it won't really exist anywhere else.
