Fromt the CDC web site on How common is Herpes. http://www.cdc.gov/std/herpes/STDFact-Herpes.htm
How common is genital herpes? Now I have got to believe that the stats are higher here. The two highest risk groups in order are teens and sex workers and regular clients. There is a lot of sex going on in this community, enough to make up for my mom and my grandma being included in those statistics and I would bet the farm neither of them have it!
Results of a nationally representative study show that genital herpes infection is common in the United States. Nationwide, 16.2%, or about one out of six, people 14 to 49 years of age have genital HSV-2 infection. Over the past decade, the percentage of Americans with genital herpes infection in the U.S. has remained stable.
Genital HSV-2 infection is more common in women (approximately one out of five women 14 to 49 years of age) than in men (about one out of nine men 14 to 49 years of age). Transmission from an infected male to his female partner is more likely than from an infected female to her male partner.
My point being is that the reality is our community has a high enough infection rate that they would not use it. And this is just Herpes I used for an example. There is a whole bunch more STD's with their own stats compounding the problem.
I also believe as was mentioned above, it would be perverted into a BBFS safe database. There is enough of that going on as their is. I have never seen so many open requests and ads for it. WOW.
But if P411 added it, I am in!
