Most of the Windows shortcuts work the same in the mac. You just hold the Command Key (next to space bar) instead. So Command C is copy, command v is paste and command x is cut. Shift Option - (minus sign by the zero, plus/equal and delete key) is emphasized dash. Shift option K is the apple logo - always fun. Originally Posted by joeman

Go to the menu at the top. Click on any item in the menu and next to the function is it's shortcut.

Two questions:

1. Does the arrow pointing up mean the shift key or the directional up key?

2. The symbol used in the beginning of the force quit is used in several of the commands but I can not find that symbol on the keypad.
