I actually thought of referring him to you sweet lady, but then I didn't want to be responsible for his actions should he be a problem. I will only refer the good ones on to my sisters.

wow.. that is funny, he should have asked before all of the screening.

I get a lot of what are you? and I say HUMAN and breathering baby..

And, many people have moved over tot he term "people or women of color" instead of AA of black... Originally Posted by Euphemia

Girl, you should've gave me his number . lol
Wow, you'd think he would read reviews or take a closer look at your photos before screening. Silly boy. Skylar, i think black is the absence of color. There's nothing for light to refract off of our cornea so we read it as black... or maybe I was daydreaming during that class. who knows. lol.
Maybe you ladies should all list mixed. That is an accurate description for probably 99%. It does not ask for color although it lists it in the case of Cau.

I am old enough that I remember when the common term of Americans of African heritage was man or woman of color.

Now for the color issue: I have looked into several and I can not tell anything about what the outside looks like from the inside. I, therefore, am more concerned with a lady's personality than how suntanned she might be.
Should have told him yes your are, you are white. Originally Posted by FlectiNonFrangi

Just in reference to "who says woman of colour": Lots of people. It's the "PC" term. Women of colour, people of colour, etc al.
So....are you going to email him a link to this? I probably would

Also, white is all the color combined when it comes to light (thus, when you have a prism and it refracts it into rainbows.) When it comes to pigment, white is the absence of all the colors (and black all the colors combined.)

BUT! Unless you are a true albino (and even then that might be a little iffy) caucasions aren't really "white." We have color variations as well from peach and olive to tan and a whole spectrum in between-- just like most other ethnicities that have a huge spectrum that falls under one label.

*sigh* I hate the terms "white" or "caucasion." I'm way more exotic than that.
