Small Rant

I always reply to any text, PM's etc. as I would want the same courtesy. Most all of the providers and hobbiest have replied to me.
I do have one provider in another state that had a falling out with me and she has decided to not reply to any of my texts or PM's. She is being childish. It's a long story, but I have stopped trying to be "friends" with her.
I had one provider that was texting and PMing me to come see her and I always replied until I finally got tired and told her it was very unlikleythat I would be coming to her town to visit, and she understood and has stopped messaging me.

I have a terrible habit of getting messages late. Especially emails. I don’t know why I do not get notifications for my provider email. Sometimes I also just am busy enough to not get to it. I’m sure some of you guys are the same and it’s unintentional. I certainly do not mean to ignore anyone unless there is a reason. With that being said, it’s usually a really good reason. I’m just saying.. most of us keep this hobby a well guarded secret from our families and friends. We do all have spouses or children and what not.. as I myself have children. I am understanding as well as I hope most understand us too. We all have lives to maintain outside of this hobby.
But.. also, I have been ignored and understood your rant. I too dislike situations like this and it’s incredibly frustrating. Especially when I am counting on this appointment to pay something important. Please don’t think I’m discounting your point, I am just rambling on my own point of view. As you already know that I do this often, hahahahaha.

Sophia, I always enjoy your point of view. I completely understand that people have lives outside of the hobby. I, myself, work a RL job and spend alot of time with family. I do give people the benefit of the doubt when they don't answer immediately. Although when I've given you hours or even until the next day and still no reply then it becomes an issue. Especially when you can see when people are logged onto Eccie and and still don't reply. I have been slow to respond to requests or messages before although I do make it a priority to keep up with replies once I initially respond. Anyway, I do agree that it can be very frustrating when you count on good communication in order to make a living.

I agree. It has happen to me on occasion and I do get upset about it.. But I can say I am equally guilty. Sometimes I type out a message and never send it.. or just don’t get to it. Hahahaha.. I don’t think anyone is ever suprised when it happens.. I am a little bit of a space cadet. I typed a whole text to Road lizard the other day and didn’t send it. Hahahaha.. to be fair though, I do this to everyone.
