I appreciate the input, but that's not the image I'm going for. The image you are describing is the common ebony provider look, full of urbana vibes (bright colors, urban backgrounds, and longggggg weave). I don't want that, looking to be a little more ethereal. I will ultimately totally transfer to "Tia Tate Garden Goddess" vibes within my next 2 photo shoots. I'm an earth sign and a VERY mild tempered person, I put people at ease as soon as they meet me. I'm just trying to convey that, ya know?

But seriously folks. In my mind's eye neither picture is very alluring. Maybe it's just lack of attraction. It looks like your trying to give off a vibe of expectation. Waiting by yourself for someone.

If you are giving us a sneek peek behind closed doors in either picture, why does it come off like you know the camera is there? You might need another, more experienced, professional photographer. The door out of focus in the foreground makes me think I just opened it.

Then maybe you should be doing something normal like getting dressed. Sliding on some stockings or standing in front of the vanity putting on jewelry.

I would say that is the emotion I'm trying to envolk. Waiting for someone or expectation. Isn't "I'm ready for you" slightly the goal for provider pics to "say" through pictures? However, I definitely did choose some unexpected poses, too bad you aren't feeling them. But "normal" isn't memorable.
Photog has 10+ years experience & own studio. So it's deff not her, maybe it's just your taste,
