Can not find oklahoma

Once surrounding states see websites like this panic, cave and remove reviews, there's nothing to prevent them from fast tracking and passing similar laws to achieve the same site ownership behavior. Hopefully some of you know states watch the behavior new laws achieve, and if they like what they see, they'll often follow suit.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I think the scope of this has the potential to become much bigger than just for our very close neighboring escorts and hobbyists in Oklahoma. Could we actually be witnessing the beginning of the end for all states, regarding the dissemination of escort-client encounter information here?

In my opinion, if the only ownership solution for this was to remove Oklahoma content, before finding and implementing something else, that's a very bad sign. Originally Posted by dfwtsfan

Fosta-Sesta was supposed to do Federally, what Oklahoma is attempting on the State level. Remember that law led to the elimination of pics and ads here. I haven't heard of a single application of that law, in the 5 years since it passed.

Texas will probably copy Oklahoma, regarding the review illegality. Might take a while, since our Attorney General is currently suspended, under indictment for numerous crimes. The Dude pointing fingers is the biggest criminal of all.
It would take some balls but this could be challenged as a First Amendment free speech violation. Anyone want to play the hero?

That said... I'm not the one with the balls to challenge it.

Initially they just removed the link to our Oklahoma boards on the main ECCIE page. But once they realized we had direct links to the Oklahoma boards, they took them all down.

So I suspect OH2 will be getting a lot more traffic now. A lot of our ladies use Twitter as well.

I'm afraid this is going to be a trend. This great ride might soon be over
There's not really a whole lot to do in Oklahoma as it is... Just make it legal ffs it would make things so much easier, Oklahoma could make their own red light district

Why not give everyone a heads up?
Any other resources?

As raunchy as Oklahoma is with laws like women can legally be toppless anywhere..... its a deep red state. Red states love to visit brothels. But theyll never admit it or make em legal, as they cannot figure out how to make sure they're taxing you what they think they're owed.

What company shuts down a service to a certain group of it's customers without warning? How this was handled is not only reprehensible, but probably greatly damages the trust customers in all states have for ECCIE, and here's why. If ECCIE did it this way for one state, whose state is next and when?

The crazy part about all this, ECCIE ownership and staff had at least 3 weeks to handle this in a much nicer and more professional manner. There was an Oklahoma forum thread in which some staff member named TBONE posted on 6-2-23, "Staff Discussing, Thanks", regarding this new Oklahoma law. This was the link to that thread and it was post # 2 in it https://eccie.net/showthread.php?t=2921265

Based on that staff post, ECCIE had plenty of time to give Oklahoma customers a heads-up about how all this would be handled. I wonder how many paid Premium Access subscriptions were renewed, or purchased for the first time, by Oklahomans during those 23 days. And if I was an Oklahoman and had purchased a long-term PA plan, and didn't get a lot of time out of that yet, I'd feel extremely pissed off and ripped off, and who wouldn't feel that way?

The way ECCIE handled this as a company, I believe it greatly damaged customer trust in all states, regarding customer expectations of them always doing things the right and professional way. And that will probably hurt ECCIE financially, because what members in other states are going to sign-up for long-term PA plans, not knowing when their state will be shut-off without warning.

In my opinion, ECCIE owes all it's Oklahoma members a huge apology for how they handled this, and probably owes it's Oklahoma members a lot of PA refunds.
What a shame, the Oklahoma section was pretty active too. Easily the most active online hobby community for Oklahoma.
OH2 isn't real busy, but that may change. I peruse RM also.
