When is it time to retire?

B)when it isn't fun anymore

It's hard to tell someone else that's it's time to retire but I can tell you I have seen a couple of providers that should. Age has nothing to do with it. Burn out or bad attitude does though

when I am limber enough to below myself.
Burn out or bad attitude.. I could not have said it better myself
When I have to use a walker, when I'm giving GUMMERS instead of hummers, and when a wheelchair becomes a real treat to have sex in.

If the provider is not having fun, the client isn't having fun either, and he will go elsewhere. Business will dry up in more ways than one.

I don't know-- very good question. Every time I'm with a provider, I always have a post-rendezvous guilt trip-- partially based on uptight religious upbringing and the fact I am cheating (even though I'm not getting any at home). I always swear to myself-- "no more". I'm sure I have some sort of issue, but I don't believe in any of that psycho-babble stuff. If my SO found out, we'd be over, so then there's no reason to stop at that point. I'd probably have less guilt I suppose for me as a client, stopping would only because a) I wanted to (for whatever reason) or b) funds dry up.

A) age
Age is just a number, isn't it?

B)when it isn't fun anymore

Its a job. No job can be 100% fun. I learned this growing up in family where 3 people were involved in performing arts. Its blood and sweat and sleepless nights, yet to general public all that is seen is "fun"

Same with being a companion. There are definitely FUN aspects to this job, like flying across the country to see favorite patron and spending 3 days in one of best hotels in the world. There are also JOB aspects to it, like walking through damn Burbank airport 6 times in 4 days.

C)a relationship

Been there done that. True love is worth giving up on fun and excitement. Anything less than that is dumb ass move.

D)when the calls stop

Time to review your business and see if there is anything to be done. If not, definitely time to quit.

E)getting caught either by Le or worse SO?

Would never have SO who was not aware of my job. Getting caught by LE would be highly undesirable and unpleasant, but not the end of career.
Great question!

For me personally, I'll leave when/if the civie world truly offers me a better big picture alternative in terms of money and relationships...and the older I get the less likely that seems to be a possibility. I'm most likely a lifer, so mark your calanders for 2025 when I will be getting gang banged in granny porn and being compensated with cold soup and generic brand cat food.

In my experience, the ladies all claim they enjoy this line of work, but I think Shayla gave the most honest answer in stating she does this for two reason "money and laziness." Where else can you ladies make this kind of income for relatively small amount of effort. I am not saying it is not a job, because it is, but honestly the effort to doll yourself up would have to be done on daily basis for any other job as well. The calls and hassles I know can be irritating but again you ladies make a very large amount of money. I would venture to say most professional ladies pull in about $250K per annum and more. Now look at the job market and see how hard one has to work and the hours spent earning that type of income, much more effort and responsibility than 3 appts per day.

That being said, for me the time to retire is when my actions are harmful to another. I used to see a lady frequently, but as we talked and I learned how she felt about being a hooker, I stopped seeing her. I wanted no part of tearing her self-esteem down. This was about two years ago. She was a beautiful lady, but not worth the cost of guilt to me. She still escorts but more UTR and I do nto see her still. I know my decision to not see her would not stop her and that was not my goal. I just decided I would not be a part of an action that deteriorated this ladies soul. I thought that maybe she was just not cut out for this biz, so I continued to see other ladies. But lately, I am thinking this line of work rips at the soul of all or most women whether they admit it or not. I hobby for selfish reasons and selfish pleasures but I am not so selfish that I will get off with a lady at the price of harming a lady's self image. That cost is too high for me. I also wonder if my rationalizing that "this particular lady is okay with what she does so I can see her" will effect my decision to retire or not. I know I do that and I justify my actions in other ways as well. If beautiful ladies could have sex without shame or guilt and I am totally convinced of that and in this atmosphere I will not retire.

I do not know if or when I will retire, but those are my thoughts this morning.

On one hand we all want to use the anonymity internet grants to express our feelings, on another we realize that everything we post becomes part of the Persona. Are there are ladies who truly enjoy what they do every single moment? Yes, just like there are those who hate it with passion. Like any other profession it has its pros and cons, positive and negative, good days and bad days. Key is to keep things in perspective, live balanced life and to make sure the cons don't outweigh the pros.

A lot of ladies I know actually COULD have "real jobs" if they chose to. I know I could if I wanted to work for 1/3 of what I am worth based on education and professional experience, deal with corporate rat race and dance with joy if suddenly my office burned down. Are there moments in my current job that i dislike? Yes. But I can't even begin comparing with how stressed and unhappy i was in my last job. For two years I actually escorted on very part time basis till I realized that my "day job" was literally killing me.

I think it is important to distinguish between ladies who enter this line of work because they truly have no other options to survive and ladies who choose this job as healthier alternative to main stream employment.

What's absolutely the worse part of being a companion? I would say it is the effect this job has on personal life. Very few men are capable of maintaining healthy relationship with professional companion. There are a lot of those who try and say they understand, etc, but when push comes to shove it ends with "I thought I could but I just can't"

It's not always just a "persona". Some say that what they say here is all an act, just for fun yet they respond/post so fast and naturally that even if it is just for fun it is a part of who they are. Kinda like when someone tells a joke that most may find offensive not just because the joke itself was offensive but because the person telling it finds it funny cause they actually belive some of it themselves.....

Providers and hobbiests alike have this problem. They can be in this so long that they subject themselves to the very worst side of people. They start to believe everyone is that way so though they may want "it" to work they just can't bring themselves to believe that they found someone that isn't like all the rest.....
