Realizing like I have that I failed to answer my own inquiry, let me tell you what I think that most special 'little thing' is for me. I think it's when I get a quick text or email after a session from the lady.
I'm not one to require much back and forth with al lady before the session. I don't enjoy long phone conversations, lengthy text exchanges, or email banter. Not that I dislike it or avoid it, I just don't normally require it. So I have a lady I've seen for years. She usually--not always, though--will send a message somehow after the session saying, "Good to see you again" or "Thank you." It's funny because because she knows just how to make it caring and concerned and genuine without being too personal and too 'lovey.' That would be a common error from someone you've seen regularly and with whom you've grown comfortable. But she just knows how to be grateful and kind without being mushy and pushy. Gratitude is an art form.
