what do you think when a provider contacts you?

I kind of like it when a provider contacts me, especially if I've seen her before. To know she was thinking about me is kind of an ego boost.
Some of the ladies I've met will send me an email once in a while, updating me on how they are doing and a friendly "how are you?" More of a friendship type message.
Many of the more memorable sessions began from a friendly hello from a provider.
A fews years back, on the old board, I became a regular of a now retired lady that all began from her response to a post I had made.

Now, if I get blasted with a lot of "come see me" messages, it would turn me off, I think. Its never happened.

I personally always maintain email contact in between visits I like the personal touch but when i contact a gentleman here is always to comment on a post and not in hopes of setting something up...but that is just me... Originally Posted by Irish Vixen

I have also developed e-mail/PM friends I have never met, and we exchange notes occasionally, usually about a post the other made, but not always.

I can't see why guys would be upset at an unsolicited PM, even if it was in part in hopes of getting a date. It's easy enough to hit "delete".

Write away dear ladies!

Email contact is the subject at hand but what other kinds of contact is accepted?
I am sure many guys wants a woman to call him but he may be engaged, married, and that is alot of information to keep up with but may be well worth it.

Pm's can't hurt. If someone takes time to send a cordial personal message, how could I be upset with that. And I really have no problem with a lady trying to hussle up some business. If the phone isn't ringing what are they supposed to do, starve? Every business requires hussle sometimes. Nothing wrong with being friendly either. Life's to short to be bent out of shape over trivial things.
I wonder about this a provider contacting a gentlemen do you guys think she is trying to make a buisness connection?... Originally Posted by Irish Vixen

I enjoy the social relationship as well as the physical. I do not have an SO so that is not an issue. As a result I appreciate contact from providers I have seen more than once or have established a social relationship with. Obviously no one would like a provider that only contacts them to solicit business. We know that a provider wants the business but they have a better chance of getting it by being sociable and keeping us aware of how nice they are.

I would like to know what providers think on this issue. Do you want hobbyists to keep in touch. I have read many threads referring to time wasters and am uncertain where that line is. Like I said I like the social aspect of a person and it enhances the physical aspect for me so I like contact but am unsure of when it will be unappreciated since I think the provider might tolerate it to avoid pissing off a client.

I personally like it. If I post something she likes, I love hearing from her. One of my best hobby experiences was with a lady named Cathy. In Dallas, she is known for this and it's almost an honor to hear from her.

Also, after a date I really appreciate if they care to stay in touch, send me a note here and then, but if they don't care to, then I certainly wouldn't force it
