Make an appointment... just to not show up.

Maybe they are insecure men who don't know what they want and just go for the cheaper and "for sure" option.

I don't ever have a plan B, I know what I want and what I like, if I contact a provider, then that means I want to meet them. It is either all or nothing for me.

My guess is that he found something better? Maybe cheaper or both, don't take it personal, it's business and no shows are part of it.

I've yet to cancel on a provider. I have to do much maneuvering to carve out a time to meet them. Too much effort involved to cancel for no legit reason. I've had providers cancel on me, but fortunately they've given me plenty of warning. Haven't had a show up at the location and receive silence situation yet, but figure it will happen at some point.

... When I confronted him about it, he pretended that he actually showed up. He didn't remember. ... I'm not upset he didn't show, just confused as to why waste your own time, and mine. ... I'm super considerate, and was genuinely worried when he didn't show, I sent him a "smh" text and let him know how I felt and he also said I had the wrong guy. How? Lol I

Epiphany: the girl I called to get a "YES" from probably callled him and cock blocked. It just hit me. Wow! Originally Posted by Mykah Stone

not showing up and then lying about it! hell, they impeached nixon for lying & covering up.

since only he (and mybe 1 other person) knows what he did instead of coming to visit you, i wouldnt spend any more time thinking about him, what he did, who he saw. he's history!

as i posted before, if it's important to share, let your sister providers know of his jerky actions.

sounds like you've got a great brain upstairs and great client satisfaction goals!

hope your next client is more appreciative and deliteful!

sounds to me like an all-or-nothing approach.
and sounds like your definition of "better" applies to your potential clients.
but, it's your world, so have at it.

regardless, there are a gazillion + 1 reasons why a client goes to a provider other than the one that they initially contacted and/or scheduled an appt.
they may have gone for a healthy salad, foregoing meat products this time

Maybe he caught a bad vibe during your screening, or maybe he decided to stay home and watch March Madness. Could be many things, those are just two examples.

I can only say that if I can't make an appointment...I always let the provider know.

It is too bad the providers don't do the same. Usually you get no return calls or text messages when you call to let them know you are near the incall. But occasionally you get a lame ass excuse like....I fell asleep, my phone wet dead, etc....

Not much you can do about it....just move on.
