The trouble with outrageous extras in Strip Clubs

I danced 10 years and when I did I made great money stretch marks and it did not mess with what I made. However, I do agree with the fact that there is a point in time when you need to get off the stage. I have worked with ladies in clubs that have offered extras starting at 20 and others that would charge as much as 400/500. It's all about the clients and the level of respect that you have for yourself. I personally like when I go to a club and they have a wide selection of ladies. I don't want to see a bunch of girls that look like they need to eat. I want to see nice hips thighs and ass.

I would say your observances are right on the money.

I started in the Gentlemen's Entertainment industry 20 yrs ago at the age of 19. The first club I danced at was Baby Dolls Saloon on NW Hwy. After that, I worked at several of the upscale clubs including, Cabaret Royale (which was newly opened) Million Dollar Saloon and The Gold Club before finally finding my niche at Caligula XXI.

Ah, those were the golden days of the industry, and life was great! The economy was good and big money flowed in the clubs. It was not uncommon to leave work with well over $1,000 to $1,500 after a lucrative night's work. There was a well-enforced "look, but don't touch" policy, and in fact, we pulled out a little pedestal from under the clients seat and danced on it. He kept his hands in his lap and if he did touch a vigilant bouncer would toss him out. Caligula actually had the dancer applying to work there come in and audition and was the only club to require a prospective entertainer to pass a drug screening. Dancers bought T-backs that cost upwards of $400 made of Austrian crystals, wore full length, hand beaded evening gowns and drove high end luxury cars.

Alas, those days are with us no more. I treasure the memories and the excitement and the pampered lifestyle I was able to afford once... I was shocked to find out just how much it all has changed in the topless world. Now it's NUDE. Unheard of mostly at that time, except for dives like the Pink Pussycat, that no respectable dancer would dare to enter.

As an entertainer, I never offered any type of thing that is common in the clubs now. Never entertained a client after hours. Why would I? I made more than enough money and really, after performing 2-3 sets in a night, made enough money on stage that I did not have to work the floor for table dances.

Those were the days.... I miss them now.

35 years ago when I started going to strips clubs, any girl would do - I was in high school, and seeing a naked lady was great. After awhile, after seeing a few, I became a little more discerning. In my twenties, when girls where getting 20 per dance, and having to do nothing but air, it was a job a girl could make plenty of money doing. Those guys look at us as chumps for being willing to pay more money to populate the clubs with prettier girls, rather than the current bunch of ugly, fat girls who will suck dick out of desperation. I can get that shit for free from an ugly girl, so it is no accomplishment to get a fat, ugly girl to suck your dick for 40 bucks. So, when I'm in the club, throwing hundreds of dollars on a girl for minimal contact dances who is absolutely gorgeous, don't look at me like a simple minded chump. Look at me as someone who makes it worthwhile for a hot chick to show up for us all to admire. I'm not ruining the business for you cheapskates, because you are getting what you are paying for, which is getting girls who should be working at a cheap diner waitressing to come into the clubs and embarrass and degrade themselves for next to nothing.

Responding to comments about wasting money in clubs. Not all guys who spend for "just" dances are "Stupid" or "Green". Some, but not all. Just as with the hobby, guys have different needs and goals. I have had dancers who I have banged in less than an hour after meeting them for very little money. Others I have had dance for me for YEARS with nothing more than a little fondling and a kiss or two. Different women fill different needs at different times. And guess what? I have spent FAR more in the long run on the women who most likely will never have sex with me and don't regret a dime of it.

LOL, There is one girl at a club I go to that I buy drinks for and get a couple of dances from every time I go in. She likes it as that makes me very different from most of the guys she sees. But, she keeps asking me when we are going to have sex. I keep telling her I like what we have and dont want to spoil it. I tell her when she is ready it will be a nice night out like a real date. She wants to try that one night but she just does not seem to understand why I wont do her in the club.

Never been in an urban one, but have always thought (and this post semi-confirms) that the stage is where a bunch of money is exchange in urban clubs. There are the stories of guys "making it rain" and just throwing $ at the girl on stage. Never understood that at all...

Even if not looking for extras, definitely want a more personal experience for my money. Thought of throwing a wad of cash in the air is crazy to me.
