Recommendations On Where To Stay

Check out the North Dallas Tollway, north of 635 and south of the President George Bush tollway.

This is harder than it should be :/

Right now I'm looking at Hurst - Euless - Bedford Area, Plano West Area, or Lewisville. Each has 2*-2.5* hotels.

Plano West - stay away from the motel that 'leaves the light on for you' at Preston/Plano Parkway.

Lewisville - real nice Best Western Plus at 35/Corporate.
Several good ones near Vista Ridge Mall right off 121/Sam Rayburn Tollway.

From this looks of it, I won't be able to include hobby play into my trip. I'm only going to Dallas for photoshoots and a photography workshop. I was going to include provider services on the side to fill in the gaps in my schedule. But at the same time, I can't afford to pay $100+ a night for a room. Irving and Planto have some nice hotels for low cost (according to TripAdvisor, Hotels.com, Priceline, etc.) So I may leave my provider hat at home. Originally Posted by MaryBeth

Stay where you can afford and close to the places you need to get to is my opinion...Didn't you do something like this before on a trip to Dallas before and made us believe you were relocating from Arkansas?...Isn't there something on the Internet about you using some people or photographers in California or somewhere at their expense to bring you there and you did other things with other people instead of honoring your commitment to the people who assisted you?

Scratch me off the list please, too wishy washy.

I never once ever told anyone I was moving or relocating from anywhere. I don't "relocate". Not then and not now. I don't know what lines you're reading but there is no "in between" area.

I posted an ad saying I was visiting Dallas from March 5th-9th.

And I do care where I stay in case I can find a place that's hobby friendly. The option to provide services is still open until I officially state it's closed.

Thank you for removing yourself from my list, you saved me a headache it seems.

Try booking 3.5* star hotels or better - Your clients will appreciate you having an incall at a nice place. You can find amazing deals on Priceline via the "name your own price" tool which can put you into nice 3.5 to 4 star hotels for only $60 - 80/Night.

Also - Many popular 3.5* hotels host many conventions and have a high volume of people coming in and out of them. If you are staying at a small 2 - 2.5*, expect to be watched by the hotel staff if you have high traffic.
You should at least choose a 3 star or higher, if you provide on a low volume basis during your stay you likely won't attract much attention, and therefore avoid problems.
