Yea I think it is probably best to keep it lock down for now. My best friend is married so he will probably end up telling her. Then the talking and judging will probably start. I'll probably just go out drinking by myself and just tell a complete stranger, they will probably think I'm some crazy guy. Like WTF is this guy telling me this stuff, lol.

That's one of the things about the military....lots of guys do it (especially overseas) and it's not uncommon to go to some of the "houses of ill repute" together with buddies. I'm a regular at a hotel and chat with the staff regularly. So one night I'm walking out my latest UTR who is model gorgeous but has no sense of direction. I notice the night clerk eying her (she is a head turner). When I return, I make a comment about how some gals have no sense of directions. He responds with a comment about how beautiful she is. I think for a couple of second if I should tell him "only $300 an hour", but decided not to and just said, "ya, that she is".

That's the closest I've came to breaking the secret.

Seriously, socials and happy hour meetups are great for letting the hair down and discussing the secret life. Otherwise, keep it zipped.

Yes, good point. I was speaking mostly of the unmarried guys. Having said that though, I've certainly met my share of married guys on unaccompanied tours that dabbled in the hobby overseas. You're right though that percentage wise it's much more common with the single guys.

I would not volunteer information either. Now, I'm new here and I'm not a hobbyist, I just don't have that kind of income. That being said, I find this forum and the whole subculture interesting. Catching up on the latest scuttlebutt, seeing what the local providers options are etc. I wish I could hobby but it's just not in the cards right now for me.
