Now, if provider A is capable of outing the real name of a fellow provider and hobbyist, what else is she capable of doing? There may not be a limit to the depths provider A will stoop if she gets desperate enough.

What are your thoughts? Hypothesis? I think not. You know something.

Is it right that provider A have an alert on her and ban her from the board? Probably both, but definitely an alert. Taking into consideration the consequences to the client, that could be dangerous.

Should this all be kept a secret? I'm not sure how I feel about this yet, but am tempted to say no.

Is she a danger to the KC hobby world? She's exhibited that potential already. Can she get worse?

Isn't there an unwritten code between providers and hobbyists not to out others? Supposedly, however, it seems to me the culture of this lifestyle has changed dramatically over the last several years and some of the old tried and true "rules" are less stringent in the minds of some participants.

I have to agree with Sillygirl too.
Any time you open yourself up to a personal attack, don't be surprised when it happens.
I'm a nice person and I've gotten "gored" by hobbyists and providers both.
The only thing I can possibly do is ignore it and don't look back.
I understand that sometimes that option isn't available to everyone.
It's sad when someones hobby ruins their real life because of anothers indiscretion and ruthlessness.

What happens when one of the persons being black mailed is a mod, what happens if this same mod was involved in covering up a previous female accused of black mailing, what happens? Not a damn thing!!!! LOL

Not every person who is outed has volunteered that information to someone else. Some people are just nosey bitches... and some nosey bitches just like to start shit... just because they can.

Get over the drama, the only thing that anyone has said about me is that someone else told me someone's real name, nothing more. And, it has never been suggested that I passed that information on and I have not. I am trying very hard to forget it and, given my age, will no doubt be successful.
