Its just you look like a retard suggesting it upholds American ideals or its masculine or its cool, when your 30 minutes of action is sandwiched in between car, pharmaceutical, preachy social commentary, the next gay hollywood movie advertisments over 4 hours.
And the 'action' you do get to see is halted because a player made contact with another player a little too hard and this "looked" bad so lets stop the game, fine the player and award a first down. Oh wait....you touched that guy wrong, award you another first down. Time for players to jump up and down for 30 seconds like monkeys after a 3 second play. One sec....that $100M athlete with a 0.5 GPA is sitting on the sidelines moping that he's being systematically oppressed.
