"Democratic socialism is simply the support of economic intervention to promote social justice within a capitalist econonmy." So you're pulling for Bernie the bumbling socialist ( PC way of saying COMMUNIST ! ) so that you can get your glory hole franchises sanctioned BYTHE GOVERNMENT and have them on every street corner like a 7-11 or a Starbucks ! No WONDER you've been working SOOO hard to expand your 'hole franchise territory all over Arkansas. And you're hoping to get taxpayer funding for the expansion of those franchises by backing Bumbling Bernie early on. Typical liberal, steal from others that EARNED THEIR money by working for it so that it can be redistributed to the "cause of the moment " or lazy lay-abouts such as yourself ! I do not like Bernie Sanders, but you are so focused on hurling stupid homosexual insults you can't make a sane argument. And until the Reps tell the Thumpers to get out of the way and put forth a more sane candidate you will remain scared to death of someone (be it Sanders or Clinton) who you should mop the floors with. But "you guys" in the wacko-fringe just might nominate someone as asinine as Teddy C or some other born-again confederate religious wacko hate monger and--shudder--force Hillary on us by default.

Because you have no idea what socialism actually is, that's why. We are constantly bombarded in this country with the tired tropes that we know better and we're superior and there are no better ways of doing things other than the way we do them. There are many ways to do things. Plenty of countries are running just fine on what you would call 'socialism' and their people are happy and they have good lives. Originally Posted by WombRaider

Are you serious? Capitalism is predicated on cheap labor. Once that labor is no longer cheap, the jobs leave. That's why we are a service economy. The production jobs left, for the most part. Capitalism is the reason for wealth inequality. Greed. If you work a full-time job, you should make enough money to support yourself on it. Instead, we have people below the poverty line, who require government assistance to make ends meet. And you continue to show your lack of understanding by talking about 'socialist programs'. They're just programs. Bernie is a democratic socialist. Democratic socialism is simply the support of economic intervention to promote social justice within a capitalist economy. It's not about the state takeover of industry, which is I think the fear of most conservatives. Originally Posted by WombRaider

In my opinion America has it's sights on becoming a Socialist country much more sooner than later. My only real problem with the idea of socialism in America is if it doesn't prove beneficial for the majority of people, there is no turning back.

Employer Shared Responsibility provisions

For 2015 and after, employers employing at least a certain number of employees (generally 50 full-time employees or a combination of full-time and part-time employees that is equivalent to 50 full-time employees) will be subject to the Employer Shared Responsibility provisions under section 4980H of the Internal Revenue Code (added to the Code by the Affordable Care Act). As defined by the statute, a full-time employee is an individual employed on average at least 30 hours of service per week. An employer that meets the 50 full-time employee threshold is referred to as an applicable large employer.
