I generally stay away from political or social threads because they're opinions, where it seems no one is ever completely right or wrong. We took fire multiple times, where we did not return fire, because we could not clearly differentiate combatants from civilians. As far as Calley....He was weak. He gave in to his frustrations. He followed illegal orders. He personally executed at least one non combatant. He seems to have little, to no remorse. That's my opinion based on experience. I really hope you guys learn to be less aggressive with each other. And I won't return to this thread. I come here to have fun.

I realize innocent civilians are killed in War....but not lined up and murdered.


But this thread was more about the Heroes that day. The crew that stopped or tried stopping the Massacre.
