Steak House and Night Life in Jackson

Yeah I saw that when I looked at the menu online but I was thinking about how nice it would be to have both one evening. That would be what I would call a hell of a good day especially if the morning involved 18 holes of golf

Steak: Katherine's in Ridgeland.

Bar: Fenian's in Jackson.

Bar wise I miss "Time Out" on Old Canton Road

It was THE best bar to me. Crowd was in the 30's on up - blue collar, mid-level career people, you could smoke out back, TV was on sports, live bands every once in a while, bartenders were good, gastropub food - wings, nachos, burgers. Diverse crowd.

I miss that place so much!

Forgot about Scrooge's, good food and bar

If we're going on the 'wayback machine' I miss the Dock. Nothing like sitting out on the dock on a Sunday morning with a great bloody mary. I second Fenian's. Great beer and food. Try the Scotch Egg.

Jokers Tavern was a great place late night. Grab a bucket of beer at last call and stay half the night lol

Man I haven't heard that name in years. The Dock was a great place and I still don't know why they went out.
