Chincho, I have no doubt the girl hasn't been in the business too long. But her friend and the pimp seem to have been in the game a bit longer. And they were the ones I was primarily concerned about.

I didn't mention in my initial post but the room had no deadbolt, only a very (very) loose swing latch which looked easily defeatable. Given that the friend and pimp were nearby and certainly had another key to the room, I was concerned someone could barge in at anytime and really put me in a bad situation. I dunno if I was being overly paranoid or not, but the situation didn't pass my risk/reward analysis at that point.

I think you made the right decision. If it doesn't feel right then most likely it's not.
