Don't discount Craig's list. There is a section of people giving things away. You will be surprised at what people will give away.

You actually can find very high quality used furniture at the Salvation Army store on Inwood; alot of Park City people donate their items there....a gem in the junk isn't unusual.
You might have to spend a little on upholstery work; but that can be minimal or expensive. Depending on you tastes. When it comes to furniture, it's all about the "bones" baby.
