If Mods were chosen by election..

Seriously, though.. Would you consider running if such an election were set up?

I'd probably vote Victoria Columbari or Britttany_love for a female mod for CoEd. Male mods? Eh.. Let me think about that..

In my experience allowing the "collective" to vote on moderstion devolves to a popularity contest and clearly divides the group

However, Ive had some serikus head shaking moments on how eccie determines who will be a fair and impartial moderator in the past

I think Ricky has enough handles and good standing to take over all the mods positions.

I say vote for Ricky or that other pimp with the 300 plus reviews that the ladies now avoid.

If the presidency can come down to either Trump or Clinton then why the hell not?

I would love to see the chaos that would ensue.

Ricky would be pointing his own bandles while calling them fucking dickless, stupid ass wipes. Then he would pressure the shit out of the ladies for freebies or else. Originally Posted by Lightesttouch

However..

If they do, they will be removing an important resource that *this* hobbyist considers important in the decision to book providers and pay them money. Advertising doesn't really say much about a lady, and the potential for chemistry in session (or lack thereof). I fill in the blanks between hobbyist reviews and advertising by reading her public forum posts to get a more complete picture of her personality and interests. My best sessions have been with ladies that I could get to know for more than just her pictures, menu & rates. (Those are important too, though. )

You've made your views on how the hobby (and this hobby board) should work on many occasions, Whispers. I respectfully disagree with many of them. I understand part of where you're coming from in your arguments, and can even figure out why you came to the conclusions you've presented but your "hobby style" isn't every guy's hobby style.

For every hobbyist who feels that his hobby experience would be better on a board run along your model, there are other contributing hobbyists who have been attracted to the board and the Hobby primarily because this board's current model provides a platform for mutual participation between men & women.

Making Coed a bit more female-friendly would help more than it would harm, provided there's a public subforum somewhere where you can take off the gloves when necessary. That was the idea behind my suggestion for the introduction of a female mod presence to Coed forums.

Yeah. What did ff do?
Submarineracer, take a look at the mod list again. Two of the four current mods really haven't been active in Austin in quite some time, but retain their mod access. If ffireman just wanted to take a sabbatical from the responsibilities of Mod duty, he wouldn't have had to give up his Mod access simply because he couldn't be active daily.

Therefore, it's more likely that his powers were removed involuntarily.

JohnnyYanks, you might want to ask Toyz for the whole story. He can tell it to you better than I can.

We all see how that went...

Pathetic slop trying to be relevant...

You are prosecuting ffireman, and you don't know a fucking thing about why he isn't a mod.

And why on earth would anybody with a brain in their head ask Toyz?
That clown is the biggest purveyor of unsubstantiated bullshit in this forum.
He calls people out and changes his mind constantly.
Plus he was banned for imitating a banned member with a fake handle, post peoples personal information, and threatens and harasses ladies.
