+1000I'm likely in that same generation. For me, it's sometimes just the art itself rather than the amount of ink. I find some tattoos on a lady's body to be fascinating and creative. Where I take issue is when there is art that depicts violence and *censored*-use.

Unfortunately a lot of people just "get tattooed." Then it's like graffiti on the body instead of a nicely done piece of art. This never enhances a person, it just draws the eyes away from anything particular so you're just looking at a big mess.I have actually thought of that.
