We exist, although I consider myself to be less than a part-time provider. My day job pays well and I enjoy it and yet I still make more as a provider in 15 minutes than I likely ever will in an hourly rate with my day job. I'll PM the OP with a more of "what started me into this" b/c my situation in the beginning was different than now. Now, I have a full time job that has some flexibility. Due to several past life events (health issues, job changes, etc) I'm finding that my financial picture isn't quire where I'd like. I'm hobbying as a) its fun and b) it helps shore up my savings.

I think it would be unusual for a guy to say, as well. I could be wrong, but I think most people have some preference and prefer some intimacy when it comes to sex. At the very least, I think most people prefer to share a mutual attraction and a decent amount of honesty with their sex partners. Of course, people can have sex and not share a mutual attraction. They can also lie to their partner in order to use and manipulate them, or to avoid intimacy. But, I would not expect that to be desirable. Additionally, from what I've read, a lot of the sex experienced by an escort isn't the most enjoyable.
