Linking Eccie ads/reviews to BP/CL/other ads - Why allow it??

214jules,

Sure you are allowed.

From this site's perspective, your ad drives traffic to the site and guys who are new and didn't have a clue about hobby sites would be able to look at the site and gain a better undersrtanding of how this hobby works.

If enough guys were to learn to research escorts before dialing the number, upselling scam artists like Donice would be forced to find another job or quit her bullshit.

Cash and dash girls would find their business ruined.

The entire hobby benefits from review boards. look how many guys post on here that they won't see escorts unless they have multiple reviews and'or verified.

More money in the pocket for legit providers and less in the upselling bait and switch or cash and dash ones.

The OP is thinking that the additional exposure could somehow be bad.

I think he fails to understand that ASPD was THE board in Texas for 10+ years and it did more good than any type of harm.

The CL thing was mainly driven by the CL killer that grabbed headlines a year or so ago and I hate to say it, but those girls he killed were obviously not doing good screening or following safety practices and it cost them their lives.

The OP makes a wild claim that the "most visible" sites are the ones targeted.

Really? Please provide some data to back that up.

Again, CL was targeted because of the KILLER. NOT because of prostitutes.

The law enforcement people I have known over the years prefer that both sides keep it off the streets and that both keep safe. If you look at who VICE targets, it is almost always those who have nasty pimps and where drugs are involved. Safety again.

The fuck up with CK1492's December 2009 Christmas party in Houston happened due to extremely lax security and screening processes by the hosts. VICE took advantage of that lack of screening and had "fish in a barrel" to go after and nailed about a dozen.

Haven't seen that lax screening crap happen here in Dallas because here, any of those not happening private events take screening seriously and removes a major risk. BUT, even then, boorish behavior by some guests, such as propositioning the wait staff over and over WILL lead to them calling the police on the event so that is why rules are in place and MUST be followed.

Back to the issue.

Posting links to reviews on any ad has never violated any site rule. besides the fact that it happens off this site and the owners and staff have enough to do with controlling their own site, why would they want to reduce potential membership growth of both providers and clients?

There is almost no upside to this OP's question.

thanks LL for making that clear because i am going back to bp im still going to be posting ads here but all the negative nicks and nancys around here are taking the fun out of my job
214JULES, there has always been alot of negativity about bp. But in all reality, there are so many great providers here, that started on bp. 98% of my regular clients are from bp and most of them have been seeing me for over 3 years. I, personally think its good to expand a lil. Just becareful and screen....which I'm sure you do that. I can name off at least 4 hobbiest here that didn't even know about this site, until I told them. I understand what everyone is saying about LE and such.....but thats where our screening comes in, right? And with you being a legit provider & being able to put links to your reviews your sure to do pretty good when advertising. And then at that, if a gent comes in and he is good to go, you can turn him onto eccie. I mean, I would love to see more hobbiest and providers here. Its more variety for the gents. I just don't understand why some are so upset about if a lady from bp starts advertising here. It just doesn't make sense to me....never has. I know all about the "Bait & Switch".....but you have to realize, no matter what site, what city, what location....there is always some kind of bs. You just have to know how to siffer it out. 214JULES, good luck with the bp ads!!! I hope you do very well.

LL is correct about what put the initial spotlight on CL, and then a bunch of other causes jumped on the bandwagon. Shutting down CL only scatters the advertising to a multitude of other sites and makes monitoring that much more difficult. I'm sure the cops get that, even though the grand-standing politicians obviously don't.

Personally, I'm happy with the flow of providers from BP and CL to here–it's better for everyone–provided they leave that screwed-up font stuff behind.
