I believe this incident was in Seattle.
It should be a federal crime to shut down freeways for a riot. This is not a protest, it's a case of domestic terrorism. Originally Posted by gnadfly

If you think that is freedom in America, then I suggest you go live in N Korea or China and you can enjoy liberal communism, be told what to do, work and give the majority of your money to the government.
“Moral certainty is always a sign of cultural inferiority. The more uncivilized the man, the surer he is that he knows precisely what is right and what is wrong. All human progress, even in morals, has been the work of men who have doubted the current moral values, not of men who have whooped them up and tried to enforce them. The truly civilized man is always skeptical and tolerant, in this field as in all others. His culture is based on "I am not too sure.”Would that more Leftists read a little Mencken before he gets canceled into the cornfield.

Bitch about the draft... but voting rights have never been universal before. Allowing those who directly benefit from payments getting to vote seems wrong to me. I'll just vote myself more money isn't a solution. We used to all know that. We don't nowadays.
I think franchise should be earned. In a public and UNALTERABLE process. You spend 10 years in military service and you earn the franchise and citizenship. Everyone else is just a resident with the same legal rights (except voting) as a citizen. The sole distinction is voting. No one is forced to serve... you can choose to while away those 10 years smoking dope and f*cking goats for all I care. You can be president and not be a citizen... as long as enough citizens vote for you.No birthright citizenship... you have to earn your franchise. It would essentially eliminate the people with no skin in the game from the decision making process. Originally Posted by texassapper
