Maybe it's just luck, but we found a couple of great ones, Fri & Sat. Ended up being over night guests. Going back today to see if anyone is tired of the tents, heat and crowds.. that was the key to first two successes.

Just be careful. 3 deaths already. The first one most surely was an oh shit moment as he flew off the flyover. wow.

Friday morning, a motorcyclist crashed into the guardrail on the US 290 flyover near Interstate 35. The motorcycle stopped, but the rider fell over and to his death.
Two more fatal accidents happened Saturday morning; the first around 12:30 am in the 900 block of Koening Lane, where a biker hit a curb and slammed into the ground.
The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet but did not survive his injuries, said police.
Around 9:30 a.m., another fatal accident happened at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Walnut Avenue, where a motorcyclist was hit by a driver.

I survived ( barely) all three days of the rally. Had a lot of custom work done on the bike this time around, so I was very pleased with the rally.

Considering the ratio of bikes to accidents, I think it was a very safe year this year, and DUI reports were incredibly low.

Like Nuglet, I too was very very successful this year, it took a while, but was able to cull two girls from Houston, who wanted to experience the night parade on Saturday night. If anyone saw me, I was the guy with the girl laying on the gas tank, and the other girl sitting behind me holding her legs.. I would have loved to enjoy it more, but I had to concentrate on steering!

So there were some diamonds in the rough, you just had to snort around and root them out.

I like to ride behind a couple of my biker friends and do never worry about LE at ROT, heck, about a dozen of them in the force are my personal long time regulars.
