Erotic monkey is fake. They started off as a free site, but the majority of their profiles and reviews were scraped from other sites (Backpage, ECCIE, TER, etc.) Then they started charging for membership in order to read those reviews.
I suppose it could be useful if you were trying to find someone that posted on Backpage long ago and their contact info was available for free.
