I think the first step would be to get tested and see what your dealing with. If it is positive for an std that would be a defining moment in your life. I would not tell her that you have been in the hobby for years. Those that do not participate in this life style do NOT understand. Most wifes and SO see providers as nasty women when in fact that's not the case. What women Ive encountered are single mothers just trying to provide for their families. Just say you've been having an affair or a one night stand. Either way she will see it as you being unfaithful and your ass is in a jam. No need to explain the hobby to her. She will not understand!!!

Me personally I get tested daily. By myself and do ask providers to do the same. I can test for the major stuff on the spot. But I never got an std from a provider in my life. You could get a dollar test kit from dollar tree to test for bacteria infections hiv is a different on that I get from a friend, the oraquick takes about 30 mins but after that it's on and popping. Most providers love it because they don't have to pay for it.

I also try and stay away from the youngsters in the game they all bareback. But testing them makes for a night of pure pleasure. Older providers are always a little more safer.

Tests only tell if you have a disease, they do NOT prevent a disease. If a provider is going BB with you, test or not, your sleeping with every person she slept with. If a provider agrees to go BB for any reason, run far away. If a client asks for BB, he's on my "no" list. How dare he offer to put me as risk? It's insulting to my intelligence and shows how little you care if I get sick.

Dollar store tests are the bottom of the barrel as far as quality. The test you mentioned above will NOT detect all STD's and will miss viruses. For that reason, you yourself don't know if your 100 % clean. The test from your doctor is ok however will miss viruses also, but better than tests bought from any store. Most doctors and almost all health departments use the a better form of testing but they can still miss viruses and not the best. Not all STDs are bacteria based.

I have done BB on film however, it's standard that both performers have to have the highest quality test form only industry approved medical facilities. None of us want to get sick so we're not about to accept a personal family doctor test, test from a store or health department. I get tested AFTER shooting as well and NEVER go BB while hobbying.

If any provider "Loves" any dollar STD test she needs to get a clue. I really hope you do some research and learn the dangers of what your doing for all involved. I pay $250/mo for testing and it's worth every penny. I grantee you won't get the dame quality at the dollar store or any store. Regardless of the top of the line tests I use, I will NEVER go BB. I test for me, not for you and certainly NEVER to go BB.

None of us can eliminate the risk we take in this hobby, we can only reduce it.
