Terry Black's from Austin recently opened a location in Deep Ellum, open for lunch everyday. At a minimum, they're on par with Pecan Lodge, but in my opinion better.

Winners BBQ is awesome

In Coppell, near DFW Airport, Hard Eight (mentioned above); Hiem BBQ in Fort Worth for the best burnt ends

Hard 8 is a good choice. I like the one in far north Plano/Frisco.
