Has anyone else tried the new lightweight kitty litter?

I sincerely appreciate ALL of the responses, including the one about keeping the cat outside. I've thought of that. But for me, my pets are really part of my family.

I have a farming background and I know the difference. However, for me, and living in the city, keeping the cats inside seems to be the most responsible thing for me right now.

Wish that I could potty train the younger one. I think that he might be open to that.

Just because he is outside doesn't mean he is not family. He sits in my lap when I am reading on the porch or grilling. And the pussy that he is(lol) gets to come inside during thunderstorms. He has never made a mess in the house and wants outside at the first opportunity.
