here is how I look at ads

Agree with Tsmokies.... Ladies please post the area of town you are in. I don't want to have to go through 20 reviews to get a general idea of where you're located, just to call you and find out you're across town.

I'm lazy and have a 15 minute radius

Jeez ladies - you just dont get it. I'd wager that NONE of you spent all those hours creating your profiles on a smartphone. But most men ARE using an iphone or whatever. Guess what? Your pics are usually too small to see from your showcase. They look great at home on my twin 22" monitors but I'm almost never trolling from home. And I'm not even married! For the married men on here, they are even less likely to use a computer. Heck, my employer blocks youtube. Which brings most of us back to hunting via smartphone.

Tips
- take a look at your showcase on a regular ole smartphone, not a tablet and not an iphone 6+. That's what we see.
- give us a location in the form of a major intersection within a 1-2 miles of your incall
- in your ad, give us age, race and donation
- do NOT tell us to contact you for donation (we know you're doing this to screen out black/indian/hispanic/whatever you dont want to see while not advertising it)
- give us a LINK to your P411, not your provider #
- if you're CBJ, advertise it.
- understand that "North Dallas" is useless for a hobbyist in North Dallas. The motels in Carrollton on I35 and those at 635/Greenville are all North Dallas but nowhere near each other. Tell us 35/635 or 635/75.
- thank us when we CIM and tell us how great we taste

(Ok, that last point isn't required but I thought I'd throw it in for my weekend trolling)

I guess the word Hobby doesn't really apply to our little community? Maybe I've totally misunderstood the concept all along?

Please, I would love to have my misconception corrected. I see all the complaints, and FU's cause all of us ladies can not seem to do everything right concerning what we have been calling "The Hobby".

Does anyone have a correct definition as it alludes to providers and gents who partake? Who had the bright idea to call it "The Hobby", anyway? LOL.

I suppose when I think of anyone being involved in any hobby, they seek the best way and have the funds and time available in order to obtain the satisfaction and pleasure they hope to derive from their hobby. I have several hobbies, and not that how I go about them is the right way for everyone, but I certainly don't rant n rave, get upset cause they choose to go about it differently, or are able to put more into it than I am. I suppose the level of commitment anyone has to their hobby and the amount of money and time they have to spend, is what actually differentiates between the amateur and actual hobbyist?

Ads are only a piece of the information available to Hobbyists and a notice that a lady is looking to book. There are appropriate places for all other info necessary. This is not yet Back Page, It's a Hobby Board. Research is a HUGE part of the game we play here. Kinda funny some of you spend hours and hours going thru ads, looking at pics, and posting in forums but ya can't click a button to learn more about a lady you might be interested in seeing? Really?

I personally do not look at the board via my smartphone. I have kids that are old enough and tech savvy enough to use my phone as well and I don't need the risk. My hobby phone is an old school Nokia brick.

Pounding on the deceased equine one more time: Location, location, location. A few other guys and I have made the point from time to time that the Fort Worth ads section is nigh on to useless, because either we can't tell whether a woman is geographically compatible, whether for incalls or outcalls, or because the provider is just cross-posting in as many venues as she can to try to attract clients or get name recognition.

If your Location underneath your avatar says "Dallas," and your subject line doesn't mention "Fort Worth," I won't even click on the ad. If I open you ad and can't tell from the text that you are geographically compatible with me, I will assume that you are not.

I know that Dallas guys are predisposed to not trust BP ads, and I largely feel that way about the BP escort ads for Fort Worth. But the Fort Worth BP bodyrub ads have long had a bevy of young women who do bodyrubs and more -- and it's a helluva lot easier to tell where they are.
