Going $$ for Greek Food

bluffcityguy's Avatar
Gee, maybe I am a really bad provider, but I've never had a guy tip for anything. Well, I have a client who brings me jewelry or other treasures, he is very sweet. I never ask for a tip or any extra fee for greek food or any side dish I serve. Maybe I need to re-think my quality of service and fees..... Originally Posted by JxnBiLady

More common, based on my reading of provider web sites going back many years, are the ladies who do add an explicit additional fee for "trips to Greece". That practice is pretty much right up front, and obviously doesn't qualify as a tip.

What does one expect to be tipped for other than general exceptional service? What are guys willing to tip for? Originally Posted by JxnBiLady

I must confess that I rarely think of tipping a provider even for most excellent service. But I always have been something of a boor, as anyone who's met me can testify.

Frankly, I tend to tip only at restaurants and the hair salon, the former because, of course, that's the way it's been just about forever, and the latter because I read somewhere that it's the proper practice (and I'd gone years without tipping her until I read that) and after reading that I felt ashamed that I never did. (The fact that my stylist is a hot chick with a magnificent rack as well as being a very nice and pleasant person enters into that decision not at all, of course. ) I hate tipping as a practice, myself, especially at restaurants where it's always struck me as a dodge to allow restaurant owners to pay their help slave wages... Workers should be paid what they're worth to their employers without the expectation that the worker's going to be tipped.

Trips to greece, front door locked so go to the backdoor, I was being subtle and its not a ususal thing that I have seen on reviews but heard about it.
Thats why I mentioned those that enjoy it. Since, its not a regular thing I am sure its extra whn it comes to tipping, at least thats what my buddy told me.He seen a girl in Colorado and she charged extra for that speciality. Originally Posted by get1bj

FWIW (and this is an observation off the top of my head), I've been struck with the impression that the ladies who will do Greek but charge extra for it don't really like Greek, but will only tolerate it in return for the extra money. (The other possibility, of course, is that the guys who want Greek want it enough that they are willing to pay extra for the privilege, so why shouldn't the provider take advantage of that willingness?) On the other hand, the ladies who both do Greek and don't charge extra for it tend to really enjoy it; if you want it they're not only willing, but actually eager to accommodate you.

As far as I can tell, in the hobby (unlike, say, at restaurants), tipping is not as much a customary practice as it is a voluntary gift given by the hobbyist in gratitude for the service rendered, and I don't recall ever reading or hearing that there's a particular "rate" at which one is expected to tip a provider (unlike, say, the 15-20% customary tip rate for restaurant service). I have no doubt in my mind that the guys who do tip (or who bring gifts to a session) are thought more highly of by providers than the guys who don't. Take this "advice" for what it's worth, but if you're as interested in insinuating yourself into ladies' good graces as your .sig suggests, you might want to tip your providers for every session you book, whether you get Greek (or any other special services) or not.

Get1:

BCG has provided a lot of good information, but let me do a bit of a summary here:

There are two ways to determine if a lady is Greek friendly - check her profile, website, and reviews, or ask her (since many ladies don't want to talk about services on the phone or in email, that might have to be in person after you schedule an appointment).

As for charges, some ladies who are Greek friendly offer it as part of their normal services and some charge extra.

Tips, if you mean an extra amount above the value of her time, are up to you and, as Tess said, should be for exceptional service. I don't think tips are usually expected.

Hope this helps.

Definately keep me posted if you are in the Jackson area Miss Dallas since your marketing is more appetizing.

I love greek dishes, but sometimes they dont like me. that is why i dont advertise it on the "menu". I jsut let it happen naturally, when I'm in the mood for it.

Tipping in the hobby is usually for agency girls, something they don't have the give the agency a cut of.

I would assume from the info you find on the ladies site that if they offer Greek and no additional fee is mentioned, it is all inclusive. As for tipping, that also goes back to most of the ladies web sites that most say tipping is not expected or required. Being a good true Southern Redneck (excuse me gentleman), If I feel that I had an exceptionally good time and truly related to the experience with the lady communications as well as activities, I have always left a little extra because I feel any good quality experience from the standpoint of dining in a restaurant or dining in the bedroom deserves it. Maybe I am an old fool that still believes in Santa Claus and chivalry!
