If things get so bad that she actually has to withdraw, does Sanders have a leg to stand on?
Or does the nominee appoint a successor?

Sanders threw in the towel at the convention and asked she be nominated by unanimous acclamation....then he headed back to the Socialist Party as an "Independent"!
Sanders is not on the ballot.
Clinton would have to be "removed" from the ballots, because there will be the 30-40% who are voting "Clinton" because they think they will get Bill....and HillaryNoMore has already made that announcement. If you don't believe me: Ask Gruber.
The speculation and wishful thinking is a waste of time. Think about "the people" and "the kind of people" who have paid them off IN ADVANCE for "access" to the U.S. Government based upon HillaryNoMore being a "shoe-in" for the POTUS. The short version is: They will get their money back.... as in a "refund"! I suspect the past couple of weeks Bill has been "on the phone" alot reassuring the "INVESTORS" that all is well and so is Hillary!
If you can find the clip of Bill talking to Charlie Rose .... classic body language of a liar.
