Often times, the "good ol boy" network will make a diversity hire-- knowing that the entire system is fucked-- and knowing that diversity hire will get blamed for the lions share.I think it is great that not hiring a black woman shows the good ole boys are at work, screwing things up - but when they hire a black woman the good ole boys are responsible for her failure as well.
